Activity Coloring Pages

When I was teaching my little ones the Alphabet there was all different kinds of tools I used to aid in their learning. I sang to them and had them sing with me, I read to them and had them point and name the letters, I printed off worksheets for them to work on and I even used coloring pages. I found that using alphabet coloring pages helped a lot in them remembering their letters. I would focus on one letter a day. While they were coloring I would show them items in my house that began with that particular letter they were working on. Here is a Letter C Activity Coloring Page perfect for a young child learning the letters of the alphabet. As you can see there are cupcakes on this coloring page. See if your child knows why pictures of cupcakes would be on this activity coloring page. Help your child figure it out by sounding out the word “cupcake”. Put emphasis on the “c” in cupcake. Repeat “Cupcake” to your child. See if your child can come up with any other words that start with the letter C. Take notice to the smile on your child’s face when he or she gets it. It doesn’t get much better than that, huh?!
